“ICELAND: Artists Respond to Place” in Scandinavia House

A group from the American Scandinavian Foundation visited Einar Falur at home in Reykjavík and had a discussion with the artist about his work.

“ICELAND: Artists Respond to Place”, the exhibition curated by Pari Stave will open in Scandinavia House in New York on October 11th.

All artwork in the exhibition dates from the past ten years. The featured artists are Birgir Andrésson, Eggert Pétursson, Egill Sæbjörnsson, Einar Falur Ingólfsson, Georg Guðni Hauksson, Guðjón Ketilsson, Guðrún Einarsdóttir, Katrín Sigurdardóttir, Olafur Eliasson, Ragna Róbertsdóttir, Rúrí, and Þórdis Alda Sigúrðardóttir. The exhibition is curated by Pari Stave.

The exhibition will first be at the Katonah Museum, June 28 – September 28.
